We have grown to love what we like to call mock exits.
During the final parts of your reception, people begin to leave, your hair and makeup begin to fall out of perfection, your groom pulls out his tie, the bridesmaids lose their shoes and have a spill on their dress.
Traditionally, couples wait to the very end to photograph their exit. And to be honest, we did that too at our own weddings. However, there is a new trend that we love called the mock exit.
Here's how they work. At some point after the dances and important parts of the reception, your immediate family and wedding party know to meet at your designated exit area.
We will line up your friends and family, photograph them sending you on your merry way and it's done.
You and your man can go back in to the dance floor, hug on friends and relatives knowing you do not have to worry about getting all of your wedding guests to the exit location ready to send you away in a hurried fashion.
Can you still have a traditional exit at the very end? ABSOLUTELY! In fact, most of our couples do.
The photos of you leaving for your honeymoon are wonderful to have. But most of our couples just want to make sure their VIP's are in the photo. The mock exit gives you just that.
It gives more flexibility in your reception schedule and allows for a more relaxed celebration time.
Every part of our wedding experience is about serving you so that you get to enjoy the grandest day of your life instead of feeling pressured into the next thing.
If you have any questions about mock exits, please let us know. We would be happy to answer them!
